A construção deste duche também foi uma lição quanto aos preços do AKI. No final de contas custou tanto como se tivesse sido comprado feito.
Construção
Numa tarde em que também tivémos a ajuda do meu irmão e cunhada, a coisa fez-se com mais ou menos empeno. Ainda dei um tratamento natural nas madeiras com uma mistura de óleo de linhaça, cera de abelhas (obrigado Hélio) e terebentina. Foi necessário cavar os buracos para os barrotes, alisar o terreno para colocar paletes e pedrinhas (um toque estético) e com a estrutura já montada fixámos cabides e uma saboneteira.
Utilização
Não posso deixar de referir a alegria imensa quando tomei o meu primeiro duche. Um misto de desconforto e liberdade. O meu pai também não resistiu a experimentá-lo mas para a minha mãe... já era demasiada exposição.
Presentemente, com os sacos, tem o tal problema de não podermos estar sempre de pé. Mas desenrasca muito bem no verão.
Melhorias
Quanto à estrutura de madeira não há assim nada a melhorar. Tem-se é que a cada um ou dois anos voltar a tratar-se a madeira. O que se pode melhorar é a fonte de água (projecto anterior) e o tratamento direccionado das águas cinzas.

Being a bath fundamental for those who want to be in a place for more than a day or two, I went to the internet to inspire myself again where I found interesting examples. The desing was discussed again with my father and there we went to buy the timber at AKI. Bars, beams, and thin boards that fit together. I chose to leave it more airy without a roof, my father developed a latch without metal (at my request) but we ended up also buying aluminum gutters that would greatly facilitate the fixing of the boards.
The construction of this shower was also a lesson in AKI prices. In the end it cost as much as if it had been bought done.
Making
One afternoon when we also had the help of my brother and sister-in-law, we did it with more or less warp. I still gave a natural treatment in the timber with a mixture of linseed oil, beeswax (thank you Hélio) and turpentine. It was necessary to dig the holes for the bars, to smooth the ground to put pallets and pebbles (an aesthetic touch) and with the structure already set we fixed hangers and a soap dish.
Use
I have to mention the immense joy when I took my first shower. A mixture of discomfort and freedom. My father also could not resist trying it but for my mother ... it was already too much exposure.
At present, with the bags, there is the problem that we can't always stand. But it suits very well in the summer.
Improvements
As for the structure of wood there isn't much to improve. It has to be treated every one or tw years. What can be improved is the water source (previous project) and the treatment of the directed
graywater.
