Esta foi a minha carteira nos últimos dez anos. Tinha acabado de regressar de um país de terceiro mundo que me tinha ensinado muito e... ficado com a minha antiga carteira. Vasculhei uma gaveta da minha mãe onde ela guarda... carteiras. Escolhi a menos feminina e que me bastava para guardar dinheiro e cartões. Foi um dos primeiros episódios de uma história de minimalismo e anti-consumo. Ontem despedi-me dela. Já deixava cair as moedas e o azul da ganga apenas se mantinha no interior. Provavelmente teria mais motivos para a guardar que todas as que a minha mãe guardou, mas decidi deixá-la ir e "imortalizá-la" desta forma.
This has been my wallet for the last ten years. I had just returned from a third world country that had taught me a lot and... kept my old wallet. I rummaged through my mother's drawer where she keeps... wallets. I chose the less feminine one, which was enough for me to keep money and cards. It was one of the first episodes of a story of minimalism and anti-consumption. Yesterday I said goodbye to it. It was already letting the coins fall and the blue of the denim was only remaining inside. I would probably have more reasons to keep it than all my mother kept, but I decided to let it go and "immortalize" it this way.
